  1. Today
  2. There are some errors in the Central European time zone example: Rome (and all of Italy) and Paris (and all of France) are one hour ahead of London (UK). while here Rome is -1 compared to London, and Paris Have the same hour
  3. It looks like this configuration is edit locked since it's in use on a plane. For that case you would need to create a new configuration and change the plane over to that one (since you can't change a configuration that's in use). For configurations that are not edit locked you would see a small x that will allow you to delete a class from a plane. I don't like this page, it's not great UI and it has some issues (namely it spams the backend with every edit), it is high on my list of things to kill in my UI redesign.
  4. I accidentally created a economy class in my all-coach configuration. Now, economy is always showing up in price list. I can't figure out how to delete it out. Can anyone help me with this?
  5. Hi there, could you please admit me to star alliance not the forum one but the other

  6. Arlight, I see what you mean. I was just concerned that after 25 years I would be paying absurd amounts in fuel 😛
  7. The next update isnt necessary the folloe update, its mors on bucket list and is not necessarily the highest on my priority list :p . However I would not be willing to increase willingness to pay, this is for a few reasons: 1. The game is already too easy imo, this would only make it easier. 2. I had considered adding full inflation model into the sim some time ago, but opted against it as I dont want to add a chore to players constantly having to increase prices to account for inflation. Its not fun for the user. 3. I want to make the sim more about broader management, like fleet management staff, strategy etc and move away from having to make constant micro adjustments to flight prices. However to address your concerns, the fuel prices are currebtly adjusted for inflation, and the increases are as well. Yes, prices for fuel increase over time relative to willingness to pay, but that is also realistic and an issue airlines IRL have to deal with (hence airlines always looking to maximize fuel efficiency). In the future years the fuel increase does stop (I forget the exact year, I want to say 2030 ish), with the new model price will still fluctuate around that and in the old model it will be flat.
  8. Yesterday
  9. I know that inflation is factored into fuel prices. However, after a while, if fuel prices double, then we would be spending so much more money on fuel and not be making as much money in profits. So I think that in the next series of updates, maybe the one with the feature where you can follow the airline, you should write in increases in the amount of money customers are willing to pay, and automatically increase the prices every airline is charging by whatever percent the fuel inflation is. This would make sure that in the long run weekly income does not decrease.
  10. For that flight your airline would have to be based in either US or Mexico
  11. Well, one of the airports has to be your headquarters, the other can be anywhere.
  12. So what do you have to do to get those international flights
  13. There appears to be an increase in database operations tied to updating demand causing slower than usual updates. I am investigating though I am on a work trip thos week and hence my time might be limited.
  14. Arcade still uses the old model, but does have inflation hence prices will slowly increase over time. The old system has a quirk whereby prices would only updare when flight updates, so flights with little action wont see increases. As part of the update all prices were recalculated, hence why you might notice increases even in worlds not using the new model.
  15. Moving to press releases, please stop posting press releases in general discussions.
  16. I approve of this ownership but New agar Airlines will always remain in control of Star Alliance in the Arcade servers
  17. THIS IS AN OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CEO OF INDIAN AIRWAYS Hello @Sky Global Holdings, We regret to hear that @emp has disturbed the peace of World C and has infringed on Star Alliance's copyright. In order to remedy this, I motion that all airlines in World C boycott @emp's Star Alliance and instead join the Star Alliance of Indian Airways. Unlike the unoriginal copycats at Air Japan, we are original, kind, and willing to help each other grow. We hereby formally establish the Star Alliance, and hope that @Sky Global Holdings will be cooperative in Indian Airway's leadership of this alliance, or Aurora International Affiliated Conglomerate may be pushed to take action that will worsen the currently excellent relationship between @Aurora International LLC and @Sky Global Holdings. - CEO, Indian Airways, a Division of Aurora International Affiliated Conglomerate LLC
  18. NRT is in Japan, political restrictions are such that you have to fly either to or from your home country unless there is an open sky agreement in plafe (such as EU), whereby any EU airline can fly freely anywhere within EU. There are also some other restrictions between specific pairs of countries, such as US and Cuba (where any flights have to be in/out of specific airports) and some where flights are completely forbidden between two countries (such as US and North Korea).
  19. FROM THE OFFICES OF STAR ALLIANCE LLC Dear @emp, We have received information that your company, Air Japan, has recently initiated a Star Alliance on World C. We would like to bring to your attention that this action has been deemed to be in violation of established copyright laws. As a result, we hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist from such practices. Failure to comply with this demand may result in legal action being taken against your company. Please take this matter seriously and refrain from any further actions that are in violation of established guidelines and regulations. Sincerely, President of Star Alliance
